Easter is a fun festival, celebrated by the Catholics that marks the resurrection day of Jesus Christ. As every year, you might be looking for some Easter decorations to make while you are planning to throw a party. Let us make some homemade Easter decorations and plan a house party like every other year.

And not to forget, Easter and DIYs go hand in hand like bread and butter like dying eggshell and making DIY Easter baskets. Washi Tape Easter Frame

You might have a good collection of fabric or paper-based washi tapes, so put them to work. Make cardstock cutting in the shape of eggs and apply differently designed tape strips on it. Now take an empty frame, paint it if you like, and make a zig-zag pattern on the frame using a yarn. Clip these eggs on the yarn, and tada, your cute little decor piece is ready.

Polka Dot Eggs

Coloring eggs might be a cliche thing to do on Easter, but then we can’t help ourselves. So this year try a new version of Easter eggs and punch holes in some neon-colour sheets. Use these punch-outs to decorate your eggshells, and we bet, your kids would love to be part of this fun DIY.

Easter Tree

Either grab some strong branches from your garden, or you can make a fake tree branch using wooden skewer sticks or bamboo sticks. Now place this branch in a vase that is full of sand till the neck. Next up, you’ll need either empty eggshells or artificial thermocol eggs and paint them or design them in your desired colour or pattern. Now take yarn and start tying it around one egg, individually. Now hang these on every other branch of your tree, balancing it well.

DIY Bunny Tail Table Setting

Take a round-shaped cardstock and stick a white pom-pom on it. Write the name of the person, for whom that table is reserved. Take two small flowers and stick them at the back of the cardstock. Now place it on the napkin kept above the plate, at your dining area. Your table place setting with a cutely handcrafted name-card is ready.

Egg Table Runner

We bet you would have already put up some extra effort to decorate your eggs with colours and stuff. So, why let that hard-work go in waste when you can make a table runner of the same? Place all your eggs in the respective tray, on the table. And compliment these coloured eggs with your dinner set of the same colour. Let this runner be the centre of attraction this Easter.

DIY Hoop Bunny

Take two differently-sized wooden or plastic hoops, and colour them if you desire. Now place two differently designed or coloured clothes in these hoops. Now tie these hoops one on the other and make two bunny-ears out of cardstock and paste them, as shown in the image below. Add a big sized pom-pom on the big-sized bunny hoop to imitate the bunny tail. Now hang it anywhere you think this decor piece will complement the most.

Glittery Eggshells

Either colour some new eggs or use the ones you have already coloured. Now take some golden glitter or colour and paint half of your egg with a golden colour. Brush the egg with golden glitter here and there, and your exquisite looking eggs are ready to show-off.

Easter Egg-shell Wreath

Use your Christmas wreath and spray coloured-paint it in white, golden, or light brown colour. Now using a hot-glue gun, paste some eggshells, hay, paper cutting, on the wreath. Egg-shell Candle Holders

No party decor would be complete without some lighting in it. So here is the trick, break the egg from the top and colour the shell, beautifully. Now put a candle wig in it and hold it from the top, pour the melted wax in the shell. Let this dry for an hour or so, and lit the candles whenever you feel like. Either keep these candles in egg-tray or place them in a group of two or three on tables, doorways, windows, etc.
