Butter less Sponge Cake Recipe

Ingredients
• 4 Eggs
• 3/4 cup flour/ maida
• 3/4 cup castor sugar/ powdered sugar
• 3/4 tsp vanilla essence
• 3/4 tsp baking powder
• 2 Round 8" cake tins
Let's Start Baking!
• Start by preheating the oven at 350 degrees F.
• Lay greaseproof paper over the base of the two baking tins.
• Make sure the greaseproof paper fits the base of the baking pans perfectly sprinkle some flour or sugar on it.
• Sieve the flour and keep it aside.
• Break one egg at a time and in a cup. From there, put it in a mixing bowl.
• Now add sugar, vanilla, salt and baking powder to the eggs mixture. Whisk all these ingredients until combined.
• Using cut and fold method, add 1 tbsp of flour to the mixture with a spatula. Then add the remaining flour in the two other instalments.
• Now divide this cake batter equally in two already prepared baking pans. And bake this cake for about 15 minutes or so.
• Check its doneness by pricking a toothpick or knife into the cake.
• Let it cool down completely. You can add some whipped cream, candies, chocolate ganache to add a touch of sweetness before you serve it to your friends and family.
